Joanne Drake, a spokeswoman for the Reagan family confirmed Nancy’s death with a statement that had the following information:

“Mrs. Reagan will be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, next to her husband, Ronald Wilson Reagan, who died on June 5, 2004. Prior to the funeral service, there will be an opportunity for members of the public to pay their respects at the Library.”

Anne Frances “Nancy” Robbins was born on July 6, 1921 in New York City. She earned a degree in dramatic arts from Smith College, and went on to become a successful actress in both Broadway shows and movies. Of course, that’s when she met Ronald, who was also an actor before becoming President of the United States. They married in 1952 and even starred in a movie together — 1956’s Hellcats of the Navy. As First Lady, she created the “Just Say No” to drugs campaign. Her life was obviously full of major moments, which you can see in the gallery of photos above.

Our thoughts go out to Nancy’s friends and family during this difficult time.
