Gigi Hadid Jealous Over Nicola Peltz Starring In Zayn Malik’s Video?

Gigi Hadid may have starred in Zayn Malik's first music video, but when it came time to film one for his second single, 'It's You,' 'Bates Motel' actress Nicola Peltz was cast as his leading lady. Instead, Bates Motel actress Nicola Peltz, 21, landed the highly-coveted role. Was Gigi upset? Here's what we've learned.

Don’t worry! There’s no bad blood between Gigi and Nicola. In fact, they’re good friends. Nicola recently said she was super excited to film the video with Zayn, 23. “I loved the whole concept of it [the video], that it was black and white and had old Hollywood vibes. I was excited to meet Zayn. I’ve never met him before and I’m really close with his girlfriend, Gigi,” she told Teen Vogue.

Ironically, Gigi didn’t even know Nicola was starring in the video until she told her. “​I called her when I got the offer, and she was like, ‘Oh my god.’ She really wanted me to do it. I mean, I love her so much and I’m really close with her, but yeah, she was excited for me. She’s the best,” Nicola explained.

And as far as those Gigi comparisons are concerned, Nicola was flattered by the mistaken identity. “They were like, ‘Oh, everyone thinks it’s Gigi!’ Which, by the way, I’m beyond flattered, she’s a goddess.” Phew!
