This is totally crazy! We didn’t even know that Tyra and Erik were having a baby, and then BAM, she announced the little guy’s birth on Jan. 27 with no warning whatsoever! We never would have guessed Tyra was pregnant because she looked amazing as ever, but that’s because she used a surrogate to carry her child after a heartbreaking struggle with infertility. This is such good news and we’re so happy for the new parents!
Tyty shared the most heartwarming Instagram message to let the public in on the amazing news of her new baby boy, who was born happy and healthy. It sounds like Tyra’s just head over heels and obsessed with her little prince already. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here,” the supermodel shared in the caption of a picture of a teeny tiny baby hat. “He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.” So precious! This is great news for Erik and Tyra, who have been dating for over two years since meeting on the Danish version of Top Model. Around the holidays, Tyra posted a photo of the two cuddling with the caption: “Everyone deserves to be loved like this.” So sweet! Congratulations, Tyra and Erik!
