Ben Carson Suspends Presidential Campaign After Volunteer Is Killed In Scary Car Crash

Ben Carson has decided to put his presidential campaign on hold after a van carrying four members of his staff flipped over on the icy roads in Iowa and one of his staffers died. This is just so sad. Ben Carson immediately suspended his campaign after one of his volunteers, Braden Joplin was killed in a car accident. The 25-year-old was rushed to the Univesity of Nebraska Medical Center and sadly died at at the hospital. Ben has decided to suspend his campaign for two days so that he can travel from South Carolina to Omaha to be with Braden's family.

Braden died at 4:30 p.m at the hospital. He was a born and raised Texas native and was currently attending Texas Tech University. Ben’s campaign announced that they would pay for Braden’s family to travel to Omaha to be by his side. The other individuals in the vehicle, Drew McCall, Aaron Ohnemus and Ryan Patrick Shellooe were not seriously injured.”I just hope that maybe his death might help some people to think about the hardheartedness that has infested our land,” Ben said. “People are just mean, and they just say things to try to hurt people. They don’t care about anybody but themselves.”

Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to offer her condolences to Braden’s family as well.
