The Anne Arundel County Police Department responded on to a call from the Bratayley’s Maryland home that was for Caleb’s medical emergency on Oct. 1. Upon arrival at the scene, police and fire department authorities reported that “nothing appeared to be criminal, nothing was suspicious and there was no foul play,” Director of Media Relations Ryan Frashure told People. This may come as a relief to some, but it still leaves the question of what did happen.
A few days after Caleb’s passing, sources told TMZ that his death was not by suicide, no drugs were involved, and there was no history of drug use. HollywoodLife.com also reached out to Dr. Bruce Lee, MD, who EXCLUSIVELY revealed what the most likely causes could be. “The most common causes of death, in order, between the ages of 10 and 14 are: An accident, cancer, suicide, homicide, congenital anomalies (birth defects) and heart disease, mainly cardiac arrhythmia,” he said.
While Dr. Lee’s list doesn’t completely solve the mystery behind Caleb’s death, Bruce Goldfarb, the public information officer of the state medical examiner’s office in Baltimore, told People that the exact cause and manner of death is currently under investigation. After initially announcing Caleb’s death from “natural causes”on Instagram Oct. 2 and posting a sweet video tribute on Oct. 4, the Bratayley family has yet to give any further details on the sudden loss of their beloved son and brother. Whether it is from Caleb’s family or medical authorities, we hope to get more clarity on his sad passing soon.
HollywoodLifers, leave your condolences for the Bratayley family during this difficult time. Check back to HollywoodLife.com for more updates on Caleb’s death.
