Let’s get right into the results. I know, I know, so sad but we have to do it, guys.
Our bottom three (any of whom could potentially be saved) are: Samantha Johnson, Benton Blount and The Craiglewis Band. Judge Heidi Klum could not believe these were the lowest vote-getters. “I am shocked,” she said.
Onto our first results.
Derek Hughes is safe! Unfortunately, that means Metal Mulisha is eliminated, as is Mountain Faith. “If I was you, I’d play to my advantage,” Howard Stern said, giving him advice. “Take your strongest moment you’ve ever had on stage and slam us with it.”
Our next group is super cutthroat. Oz Pearlman is going to the finals! Sadly, Arielle Baril and Ira won’t go further. “You’re amazing, you wow us every single time,” said Mel B. “Just wow us again.”
Onto the next finalist. Going through is Drew Lynch! Okay, I’m officially sobbing. Are you sobbing? I’m sobbing. Siro-A leaves us, as Drew gets to have a moment of reflection. He is so emotional, thanking the rest of the contestants. “Laughter is the best medicine,” said Howie Mandel. So agreed.
Finally, we get to the big save. Of the three golden-throated belters, who’s it gonna be? Drumroll please. Going to the finals is… Benton Blount! He literal folds over, before holding his heart. “I think I might have had a heart attack,” he says. So sweet.
Now, onto the final save. The very last finalist of the night is… The Craigslewis Band!
And that’s it for this week! Do you guys think America got its finalists right? Or were there some serious missteps?
