Somebody is in big trouble at the Connick house! The American Idol judge’s 19-year-old daughter has gotten herself into quite the pickle. She was arrested over the weekend after allegedly hosting a party at her family’s house in New Canaan, CT., according to NBC News.
The reason for the arrest was due to alcohol being served to minors. Not good. Georgia now faces charges of permitting minors to possess alcohol and procuring alcohol for minors. When police arrived, they reportedly discovered tons of teens running from the home. Obviously, no one wanted to get caught. They even tried to escape through the woods near the home.
15 party guests did in fact get caught and officers contacted their parents. The ages reportedly ranged from 18 to 20 years. Georgia initially told police that most of young people showed up at her house during what was intended to be a small get together.
“This is a private matter which we are dealing with as a family,” the musician told People on Aug. 18. “We have no further comments. Thank you for understanding.”
