TMZ reports that Chanel was held per a citizen’s arrest by security guards until Sheriff’s deputies arrived and cuffed her and took her to the police station and charged her with battery. As seen in a video taken at the scene, Chanel is cuffed on the ground, when one of the officers tells her: “I tried to let you go home, but you kicked me and punched me!” Chanel allegedly pulled the fame card and protested that she’d “been on TV for 17 seasons”, but unfortunately, the officers weren’t buying her excuse. Furthermore, in the video you can hear Chanel’s friend yelling at officers to let her go, shouting that they didn’t read her Miranda rights. A day after her arrest, Chanel posted pictures of bruises on her arms on Twitter, claiming she was the victim of “police brutality.”

Chanel is better known for her role on the hilarious weekly MTV online video review show Ridiculousness, which is hosted by her close friend Rob Dyrdeck. Chanel joined Ridiculousness in 2011 and has appeared on Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory. Chanel also voices a character on Wild Grinders, an animated children’s show on NickToons. Her TV cred hasn’t stopped her from making scenes, though, including her meltdown at Coachella in April 2015. Chanel yelled at festival security for keeping herself, her boyfriend and a friend out of the VIP area, and the episode was all captured on camera.
Sgt. Morien, Watch Commander At West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, tells HollywoodLife.com the following:
