Spider-Man’s Got A Loaded Gun On ‘Suicide Squad’ Set — Tom Holland Pic

Spidey's got a gun, y'all! Tom Holland, who is Marvel's newest Spider-Man, dropped by the set of 'Suicide Squad' and he was packing some serious heat! Of course, we have to wonder, what was Tom even doing there? Joel Kinnaman, who will play Rick Flagg in Suicide Squad, basically set the entire fandom ablaze on July 21 when he posted a photo to his Instagram of himself alongside costar Kevin Vance and Marvel's new Spider-Man, Tom Holland. Joel may have jumped the gun on posting the pic because it was quickly deleted, however, as we know these days, nothing that's erased is ever actually gone (the Internet is terrifying). A fan captured the image for all of us to behold and it is really something. Hey Tom, why are you packing so much heat?

Just for the record, this is a crossover we could seriously get behind. While filming for Suicide is underway in Toronto, Tom also found himself up North so, naturally, he dropped by the set and armed himself with innumerable bullets and a massive gun.

Before deleting the pic, Joel wrote, “We had a Marvel intruder on set today. Just in case those spidey senses stop working we got Tommie loaded up.”

Ah, we totally get it now (we don’t). Anyways, what exactly was Tom doing on the Suicide Squad set? Remember, that film is DC, while Tom is playing Spider-Man in Marvel. Could a crossover between the two iconic brands really be in the works here? While we’d love to think so, it’s more likely that Tom ventured across the border in order to finish filming scenes for the upcoming Indie flick, Back Country, in which he stars alongside Joel. It all makes sense now.
