‘Glee’: Lea Michele Reveals Why Rachel & Jesse St. James Work

Rachel Berry and Jesse St. James may just be endgame after all. HollywoodLife.com caught up with Lea Michele at PaleyFest in LA, and she revealed just why Rachel and Jesse are so perfect together.

It’s almost the end for Glee, but last week’s episode brought back a familiar face that we have a serious hate-love relationship with — Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff)! And yes, he kissed Rachel (Lea Michele) after sectionals. So, are they meant to be? And what is it about him that really wins her heart over?

‘Glee’: Jesse St. James & Rachel’s Relationship — Why It Works

“He’s Jonathan Groff! He’s basically the best guy in the entire world. He’s my best friend,” Lea told HollywoodLife.com before taking the stage at the PaleyFest panel at Dolby Theater. “They’re very similar. They’re cut from the same cloth. He’s sort of the male version of her, so I think that’s what does it.”

Well, that makes sense — they definitely both have their eye on prize. (That prize being the spotlight.)

Are Jesse & Rachel Endgame?

Is anyone else wondering what happened to Sam? Well, Chord Overstreet told us that it just makes more sense she would be with Jesse!

“They’re probably more in sync with what they want and you know, they’re a little older and ready to settle down,” he told us exclusively before the PaleyFest panel on March 13. Plus, we know that Sam is definitely not the actual one for Rachel.

Thanks to leaked photos, we found out that Rachel is actually pregnant in the flash-forward part of the finale airing this Friday — but who’s the father? Click here to find out.

The two-hour Glee finale airs Friday, March 20 on Fox. Do you hope Rachel and Jesse end up together? Do you think she should be with Sam? Let us know!
