Wow -- so sad. The beautiful Mirjana Puhar, an America's Next Top Model contestant, was found shot to death along with two others in her boyfriend's home. Here's whats known about the tragedy. Mirjana Puhar, 19, is one of the victims of a shocking triple homicide that took place on the night of Feb. 24. Three bodies were found by police, including her boyfriend’s, after gunshots were heard from inside his apartment. Such a heartbreaking story.

Mirjana Puhar Dead — Killed In Triple Homicide

Mirjana, who competed on cycle 21 of ANTM, was at her boyfriend’s home in Charlotte, NC on the night of her death. A source close to the model told TMZ  that a friend of the couple went to the house after getting a call telling them that gunshots were heard.

When the friend arrived at the boyfriend’s home, they found Mirjana and her boyfriend dead. They immediately called the police. No information about the suspects has been released, however, police stated that the suspect isn’t “random.”

UPDATE: Detectives with the Homicide/ADW Unit have charged Emmanuel Jesus Rangel with the murders of Mirjana, Jonathan Cosme Alvarado and Jusmar Isiah Gonzaga-Garcia.

This is the press release from the Charlotte police department:

During the investigation, detectives identified Mr. Rangel as a suspect in this case and obtained three Murder warrants for his arrest.  Earlier this morning, detectives with the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located and arrested Mr. Rangel without incident.  Mr. Rangel was then transported to police headquarters where he was interviewed by detectives.  Upon completion of the interview, Mr. Rangel was charged with three counts of 1st Degree Murder.  Preliminary information indicates that the victims and suspect were known to one another and this incident was drug related.  Mr. Rangel has been transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office where he will  remain in custody. Mr. Rangel has also been charged in connection with a murder that took place in Matthews, North Carolina on Sunday February 22, 2015.  For information concerning the murder that occurred in Matthews, NC, please contact Officer Tim Ayock with the Matthews Police Department.
