‘Glee’: Kurt & Blaine Kiss In The Elevator — Season 6 Episode 5 Recap
Despite Sue’s (Jane Lynch) attempts to sabotage New Directions, McKinley High’s glee club proved to be victorious against Dalton Academy and Carmel High, thanks to Kitty’s ability to bribe Becky (Lauren Potter) with a box of Twinkies. Apparently, that’s all it took for Becky to hand over Sue’s computer password, which helped Kitty and Rachel break into her files and find out which songs emotionally cripple the Ellen DeGeneres lookalike.
Earlier in the episode, Sue announced that she’d be judging the competition. Fortunately for New Directions, “It Must Have Been Love” by Roxette, “Father Figure” by George Michael, and “All Out Of Love” by Air Supply were just what she needed to hear for them to take home the top prize — an awkward looking trophy with a gold pig on top.
Sadly, Kurt and Blaine almost missed out on the entire competition because they were trapped inside an elevator. Sue inserted a faux elevator in the halls of McKinley so that she could kidnap Klaine. It was like a creepy scene from Saw — once Kurt and Blaine were trapped inside, a miniature version of Sue rode out on a tricycle, telling them they had to kiss before being released. Of course, they put it off for as long as possible, but finally decided to kiss, knowing it “wouldn’t mean anything.” However, a simple kiss soon turned into a hot makeout session.
Could this be the start of Klaine’s reunion? They swear they’re “better off as friends,” but based on the looks in their eyes, we beg to differ.
Sam Tries To Kiss Rachel Again
Also in relationship news, Sam seemed to still be hypnotized by Sue. He even tried kissing Rachel again and said he plans on being her “future husband.” Rachel put a stop to it, however, when she snapped her finger and said she just wants friends right now. Once Sam came to, he didn’t know what happened. (Can we just say that we’re not fans of this hypnotizing storyline? It’s not nice to tease Samchel fans!)
Lastly, the hot new gay kid — Spencer (Marshall Williams) — also joined New Directions. (Can we get an Amen to that?!)
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Kurt and Blaine get back together? Are you a fan of the hypnotizing storyline? Tell us how you feel!
