‘Chicago P.D.’: Lindsay & Halstead Finally Hook Up

It was a long time coming! Lindsay and Halstead have been close friends for years, but on the Jan. 14 episode of Chicago P.D., they finally answered the question of whether there might be something more between them.

It turns out, there was!

Ahead of the followup episode, which will deal with the implications of the two getting together, Sophia and Jesse revealed to TV Line what we can expect.

While the development will be kept secret at first, “they’re going to play with, ‘Alright, we’ve put our feet in the water now,” said Jesse. “Do we tell people? Do we not tell people?”

“The big question is, do we tell Voight?” Sophia said. “I’m sure he’s going to find out at some point and we’ll see the wrath of what that looks like afterwards,” added Jesse.

Friendship First

Though the pair’s future is still very much in flux, Sophia said it’s exciting to see the characters–and their relationship– develop.

“A relationship that starts out of a years-old friendship, obviously, is very different from one that starts because you meet someone at a bar and you go on a date,” she said. “I think that’s what fans are excited about. That’s what we’re excited about exploring, is how are all those things affected [or not] by this new dynamic.”

What do you think of Lindstead, HollywoodLifers? Are you excited for what’s to come on Chicago P.D.?
