Chris Rock and his alleged new girlfriend, actress Rosario Dawson, are planning on going public their romance, according to Media Takeout.
According to their source, “They got together while making Top 5 . . but kept it quiet. Now I think Chris filed the papers on Malaak because he wants to go public with it.” So crazy!
Although this situation seems messy, Chris hasn’t actually been with Malaak in years, according to their source — “They didn’t want to announce it while their movie TOP 5 was still being released – cause they didn’t want people thinking that Rosario is some type of home wrecker. She’s not, Chris hasn’t been with his wife in about TWO YEARS . . .”

“After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Malaak said in a statement on Dec. 28, according to People.
“While recognizing that this is a significant change, my children remain at the center of my life and their well-being is my top priority. It is in this spirit that I sincerely ask that their privacy and the privacy of our family be respected during this transition in our lives.”
Chris’ attorney, Robert S. Cohen, also confirmed the couple’s impending divorce. “Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak. This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family.”
