Eminem: Shockingly Slim Appearance At ‘WSJ’ Event

Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?! At the 'Wall Street Journal' Innovator Of The Year Awards in NYC on Nov. 5, Eminem's shockingly slim appearance made him nearly unrecognizable! On Nov. 5, Eminem made his first public appearance in a long while, and we could not believe how thin he looked! The rapper has always been slim (shady), but his gaunt appearance at the Wall Street Journal Innovator Of The Year Awards aged him far beyond his 42 years.

Eminem Is Skinny: Rapper Looked Gaunt At ‘WSJ’ Event — Did He Lose Weight?

Eminem was present at the ceremony to honor Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, who discovered him.

“Dre and Jimmy are like a force of nature,” Eminem said. “As an example of how powerful they are, they had me fly here all the way from Detroit to speak publicly, and I really hate public speaking.”

He’s not wrong — Eminem is basically a hermit. He even posed with Dre and Jimmy on the red carpet, which is fairly unprecedented for the rapper. If ever Eminem is seen in public, it’s on a stage; even then, he’s wearing a giant hoodie which essentially conceals his appearance.

Eminem Once Ran 17 Miles Per Day To Lose Weight

After gaining a bit of weight in 2008, the rapper turned to running to shed pounds, as he told Jonathan Ross on his radio show in 2009. However, he was taking it a bit far, even by own admission — at one point, he was running 17 miles per day.

He has also been vocal about his past addiction to prescription pills like Valium and Ambien, which led to him checking into rehab in 2005. We hope he’s not sick again!

HollywoodLifers, do you think that Eminem might be ill or over-exercising, or is he just a thin dude? Let us know.
