Lauren Conrad’s Wedding Dress — Stuns In 2 Designer Gowns:

Lauren wed William Tell in a rustic ceremony in Santa Ynez, California, and her custom-made lace gown, crafted by designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka, was delicate and chic — it was the perfect creation for the special day! Lauren wore a sleeveless gown, made up of two-tone ivory Chantilly lace, which was embroidered by Alencon lace and featured crystal, pearl, and baby glass embellishments. The dress featured delicate buttons down the back and while it wasn’t too over-the-top, Lauren insisted on making a grand entrance. “I did a photo shoot, and there was a dress with a giant train,” she tells US Weekly. “So I emailed them, ‘How do you feel about, like, a 10-foot train?'”

While Lauren was initially drawn to the idea of a tulle ball gown, it wasn’t long before she decided on something lacy and fitted — and she headed to her first meeting with the designers in their NYC studio armed with images of long-sleeved lace dresses. “She had a really clear notion,” Badgley tells US Weekly. “And she stuck to her guns.”

Although originally she wanted long sleeves, during a fitting at her condo in Beverly Hills she decided that she wanted the sleeves sliced off. “I felt like I couldn’t pull them off,” she tells the mag, adding, “I don’t have superlong arms.” Her request was met with hesitation from the tailor, but Lauren did not falter! “I was like, ‘Sir, if you don’t cut them off, I’m going to use my kitchen scissors to cut them.'”

Lauren Conrad’s Reception Dress:

While Lauren was a vision in her Badgley Mischka gown, it wasn’t long before she slipped into her second dres of the night — a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown. The second dress featured more of a mermaid silhouette and was definitely a bit easier to move and groove in, (especially since she didn’t have to worry about messing up her stunning train!).

While both of Lauren’s dresses were lovely, she showed off one last look before the magical evening was over — and it was the slip she wore under her Badgley Mischka gown!
