‘Teen Mom 2’s Chelsea Houska’s Legal Drama Over Her Esthetics License
If you have not been following Chelsea’s legal drama on season 5B of Teen Mom 2, things are getting a little confusing.
Here, let me try to break it down for you: On the first half of season five, Chelsea graduated from beauty school with a degree in esthetics (skin care).
Shortly after graduating, Chelsea was hired at a local spa as an apprentice. The law states that without an esthetician’s license you can only provide a limited amount of beauty and skin care while getting paid for it.
Chelsea eventually took her esthetician test, but she has yet to find out whether or not she passed — because someone reported her to the board for doing makeup at a wedding. Whoever reported her for working the makeup claims she got paid, which goes against the law.
Now you’re up to speed. So, during recent episodes of TM2 Chelsea has been dealing with the legal repercussions of working a wedding — even though she claims she did not get paid, despite what was reported to the board.
In this EXCLUSIVE clip for HollywoodLife.com, Chelsea consults a lawyer to explore her options when it comes to fighting for her license. During this short preview, you see that Chelsea is clearly stressed out about the situation — and rightfully so. Not only is her job on the line, but she just bought a house for her and her adorable daughter, Aubree, to live in.
Check out the clip above and be sure to tune in for a brand new episode of Teen Mom 2 on Wednesday, July 30, @ 10pm only on MTV.
