Honey Boo Boo Hit Mama June On ‘The Tonight Show’ — What You Didn’t See
Uh oh. A new report claims that the Honey Boo Boo interview that The Tonight Show aired on June 11 was edited — a LOT.
Not only was Honey Boo Boo — real name Alana Thompson — misbehaved, but she also allegedly hit her mom during the interview, reports audience member Christy O’Shoney.
“[…] I was there, and from where I was sitting, Honey Boo Boo — let’s not mince words — was a tiny, dimpled monster,” Christy wrote in an eye-opening article on Salon.
One of the more disturbing aspects that was allegedly left out of Alana’s interview is when the 9-year-old girl physically attacked Mama June.
“[…] the most notable moment to be left out of Honey Boo Boo’s appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’ was when she became so fed up that she actually struck Mama June.”
In Christy’s article, she claims that this was the only time Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon lost his cool with Alana.
“Up until this point, Fallon had been doing a great job of navigating Alana’s weird behavior, but it was at this moment when he became positively awesome. ‘NEVER hit your mother!’ he exclaimed, in a voice that was serious with just a hint of a joke, and the studio audience erupted in applause,” Christy explains. “Finally, we thought, someone is addressing this child’s attitude.”
Although everyone is used to Alana’s antics, being outright disrespectful is not the same thing as being a sassy little girl with a bit of redneck twang. Obviously, Christy agrees with this sentiment, and openly wonders if the Honey Boo Boo that America celebrates actually exists off-screen.
“The Alana I saw on ‘The Tonight Show’ set was visibly troubled: disrespectful, defiant, entitled. Of course, with a bit of editing, ‘disrespectful’ becomes ‘precocious,’ ‘defiant’ becomes ‘sassy,’ and ‘entitled’ becomes ‘confident,'” she wrote.

Honey Boo Boo Was Just Being An 8-Year Old, Eyewitness Tells Us
As usual, here at HollywoodLife.com we are eager to find out the truth about everything. Thankfully, we were able to track down another audience member from Honey Boo Boo’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon who tells us that Christy’s report is nothing but exaggerated lies.
“I was there — 95% of what actually happened was filmed and was what you saw on the air,” an audience member tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Interesting! Our eyewitness also reports that Alana never physically lashed out at her mom, either.
“She did not hit Mama June in a violent way, she simply shooed her mother away, maybe tapped her leg, she was just being a typical 8-year-old. It’s totally exaggerated,” the source explains. “Jimmy did tell her not to hit her mom, but he did it in a comedic way and the audience laughed with him.”
“Alanna is obviously a sassy little 8-year-old, she was just being herself,” the witness continued.
You can check out an unedited clip from Alana’s Tonight Show appearance above, which apparently took place just moments after Jimmy disciplined her for hitting her mom.
