A New ‘Bizzy’ Bee

Conrad (Henry Czerny) needed to revamp the Grayson image and get himself back in the good graces of America, so he hired a sassy new PR lady to help. Bizzy Preston (Ana Ortiz) was locked, loaded and ready to fix the Grayson family. She wanted to throw a lavish 4th of July party and have Victoria and Emily do press together.

Spending time with Victoria didn’t suit Emily at all and she headed to Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) to air her complaints about Bizzy’s plan. In a surprising twist, Nolan already knew Bizzy, and they didn’t exactly have the best relationship.

Apparently, Bizzy outed Nolan’s sexuality to the press and cost Nolan his relationship with his father 10 years ago. After planting a story to Bizzy about her first and fake marriage, Emily let Nolan take the reigns on the Bizzy takedown.

At the 4th of July celebration, Nolan was in full revenge mode. Bizzy still believed she did Nolan a favor by outing him to the press. Nolan didn’t seem to think so and successfully hacked into Bizzy’s phone by placing a camera on his glasses that he let her borrow. Nice touch, Nolan! Nolan and Emily should just leave the Hamptons and become super spies. They’d be unstoppable.

Truth be told, Bizzy was busy (teehee!) covering up stories of her own, like an extramarital affair! Nolan stopped by her office and told her he’d destroy her career by outing all her clients’ secrets that she was known for keeping locked away forever. However, he did give her an ultimatum: Either she end the affair now or he would tell her husband. Bizzy said she was sorry for hurting Nolan, and he accepted her apology — but he wished his father could hear it.

Holding On & Letting Go

This whole Jack (Nick Wechsler) and Margaux (Karine Vanasse) relationship is apparently going somewhere. He visited Margaux at work and asked her out on a date and they had a sweet and simple night out. They kissed, but he stopped her before they went any further. Things got awkward and she left. (Thank goodness!)

Later, Jack and Nolan talked about the date disaster; Nolan told him it was time to face the fact that Faux-manda was never coming back.

Jack then went to see Faux-manda’s grave. He confessed that it was time for him to move on and he took off his ring. He told Faux-manda that he missed her with all his heart. I’ll admit, I teared up at that part. Regardless of whether you liked Faux-manda, she is still the mother of his child. However, their whole relationship was based on lies. I still think Jack is trying to make himself believe that faux-Amanda was the true Amanda Clarke because he can’t accept the person that Emily/real-Amanda is.

At the party, Jack apologized for the date. He asked for another chance with Margaux and she said yes. They kissed at the party and that moved to the bedroom. The next morning Jack offered to make her pancakes but she said she had to get to work. Seriously, who turns down pancakes?

Someone’s Got Cheating Up Their Sleeve

Daniel (Joshua Bowman) ran into ex-girlfriend Sarah (Annabelle Stephenson) at The Stowaway, and after she got fired from her job at the bakery, he wanted to make amends. He said he wanted her to make the cake for his wedding! (Wow, Daniel. Trying to make things super awkward, huh?)

After cake-tasting with Emily and Daniel, Sarah got the job! They talked after Emily left and all I saw was sparks. Seriously, there is so much chemistry between these two.

Meanwhile, Victoria continued scheming to ruin Emily and Daniel’s wedding. She wanted Aiden (Barry Sloane) to get back into Emily’s bed and heart. Oh Victoria, Aiden’s been there for awhile now. Also, during this scene, Aiden was shirtless. It was truly beautiful.

According to Emily, Victoria’s plan couldn’t go down like she wanted because it was so close to the wedding. Aiden and Emily could be seen together, but that was it. At the party, Aiden and Emily talked for a brief second, but failed to arouse any jealousy in Daniel.

Daniel had his eye on Sarah, just like Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) wanted. She told Victoria that Sarah was the one who could stop the wedding and Victoria looked so pleased at Charlotte’s scheming. However, Daniel didn’t need any pushing. He found Sarah on the beach and they almost kissed under the fireworks!

Say Hello To My Little Friend

After Aiden’s failed attempt at wooing Emily back and giving Daniel a reason to be jealous, Victoria fired Aiden. Aiden told Emily that he knew Victoria had something new up her sleeve. They kissed and he agreed to make sure the master plan continued to roll in motion.

Victoria did have something else up her sleeve: Sarah. She showed up at Sarah’s place and said Sarah was the one for Daniel. She wanted to work with Sarah toward a common goal: Stop Daniel’s wedding to Emily.

However, this new alliance wouldn’t go unnoticed by Emily. Nolan’s spy glasses also recorded Daniel and Sarah’s near kiss. “I have to make sure they have no future,” Emily said. Looks like Emily’s taking out the red sharpie on Sarah next!

Emily also admitted that it was fun being Nolan’s wingman. She never thought that she would have a partner or real friend in her revenge plans. Aside from Emily’s copious amounts of hot eye candy, Nolan is her guy. Their friendship is so crucial to the show and it makes my heart melt when Emily finally tells Nolan how important he is to her.
