Angelina Jolie: My Voice May Be Sexy But I Hate How I Sound!

Angelina is back as a starring voice in the animated sequel 'Kung Fu Panda 2' -- but don't ask her to enjoy hearing herself talk! Angelina Jolie's sultry voice has been a big part of her incredible allure and she's made millions as a voice actor in cartoon movies like the Kung Fu Panda flicks. Yet her voice is one of her least favorite parts of herself -- no matter how much other people may like how she sounds!

“You know, when you hear your own voice, you can find it quite boring and uninteresting,” she tells USA Today. “Suddenly, you get very shy that your voice is not enough, because I’m not musical and I don’t know my voice.”

Despite her eventual success, Angie was so nervous about getting voice-over work that she’d use a variety of voices for auditions!

Her Panda co-star Jack Black — a favorite of her kids — has been an source of inspiration during their work on the latest installment, which opens May 26.

“I was crazy about him,” Angie says. “I had seen him in everything he’d done, but what I really knew him for was music…I don’t have musical talent, so I always thought it was really cool that he could be an actor to a lot of us but equally a rock star.”
