Jen is 40 years old, but our experts think she looks much younger. It’s actually Angelina Jolie who, at age 34, really looks like she’s 40!

Jennifer Aniston, all we ever hear about you is that you can’t land a man — but you must be doing SOMETHING right because experts say although you may be 40, you don’t look a day over 35! Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie, your ex-husband Brad Pitt‘s new leading lady, is only — and she’s actually the one who looks 40!

“If I had to guess I’d say Jennifer looks about 35 and Angelina Jolie looks like she’s hit 40,” says Dr. Lance Brown, a cosmetic dermatologist and President of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York. “Jennifer looks more natural — not a frozen look like Angelina. Jen looks healthier.”

Jen clearly prefers the sun-kissed look, and that’s OK according to our doctors. “Jennifer doesn’t show any signs of sun damage or hyper pigmentation,” says Dr. Dennis Gross, a celebrity dermatologist in NYC. “It looks like she has also been very good about protecting herself from the sun. Overall her skin has an even, vibrant tone.”

Angelina needs to be careful because getting too thin will certainly show in her face. “There is a point where looking thin can make you look gaunt especially if you have fair skin like Angelina,” says Dr. Brown. “Something is too porcelain — maniquin perfect with Angelina’s face. Jennifer has a little more weight on her face and more color.”

Dr. Gross tells us that Jen who loves to smile needs to watch out. “She should be extremely diligent about using an eye cream in the AM/PM as she seems to smile frequently,” he says. “This can produce some wear and tear around the eye area.”

To be fair we know Angie is under a lot of stress with six kids and constantly traveling the world doing charity work. Dr. Gross suggests that Angelina watch her stress levels: “She should get plenty of sleep and not drink too much coffee,” he says. “Your skin is a window into your body. … Everyone should moisturize, use gentle soaps, and wear sunscreen!”
