‘Supernatural’

‘Supernatural’ — Few shows are as beloved as Supernatural. Created by Eric Kripke, the long-running series premiered in Sept. 2005 on The WB (now The CW) and starred Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as brothers Dean and Sam Winchester, who travel across the country to hunt down evil supernatural creatures. The show became an instant hit and developed a loyal fanbase that carried the series until Nov. 2020, when its series finale aired after 15 seasons and 321 episodes. The show also starred Mischa Collins, Mark A. Sheppard, Mark Pellegrino and more.

When Supernatural concluded its incredible run in Nov. 2020, it seemed that the book was closed on the stories of the Winchesters. But that’s not the case. On June 24, 2021, Jensen and his wife Daneel Ackles announced that they were developing a spinoff prequel series titled The Winchesters, which will focus on Dean and Sam’s parents, John and Mary.
