This is some next level shade from La La Anthony, 37, and she’s basically our new hero. The actress, who’s in the middle of a messy split with husband Carmelo Anthony, 32, showed up to the Met Gala on May 1 by herself and sent him a subtle message. Look closely at her gorgeous outfit and how she accessorized. La La is wearing rings on all of her fingers, except her left hand ring finger. You know, the one where her wedding band goes. Damn!
She did that on purpose, didn’t she? La La posed on the red carpetwith her left hand on her hip, flaunting the ringless finger. If her beautiful ball gown didn’t make a statement, this choice certainly did! La La stunned in a Thai Nguyen Atelier long-sleeved, black tulle gown that was completely transparent. She wore nude briefs underneath, her breasts covered by the black rosettes on the front. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels — except for that curiously missing ring!

She captioned an Instagram of her look prior to the Met Gala “Unbreakable #MetGala” which sends another message to Carmelo. Her solo trip to the annual event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art comes shortly after the couple separated after seven years of marriage. La La and Carmelo are now living apart after Carmelo reportedly had an affair with a woman named Mia Angel Burks. La La and Carmelo attended the Met Gala together in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. Happier times. La La truly showed Carmelo what he was missing this year!
