If there’s on thing for sure about Chrissy Teigen, 31, it’s that her cheekbones always stand out and are super defined. The one thing you didn’t know, though, is that it’s not her real cheekbones, it’s actually makeup that’s giving off that effect. Celebrity makeup artist, Allan Avendano, gave Chrissy this gorgeous blush pink look and he faked her amazing cheekbones using two key steps. Allan used Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate on Chrissy and it’s just a highlighter and contour duo with shading creams.

To fake amazing cheekbones you need to do two things — highlight and contour. Contour is a dark shade of cream or stick that’s used to shape and define your face and give your bones definition. It’s miracle makeup because it can sculpt and lift your face to make it look sleek without using needles or injections. Highlighter is a lighter, sheer shade that’s purpose is to draw the light onto the skin you just defined. Plus it brightens the skin and gives you a gorgeous glow.

Now that you know what you need to use, now you need to know where to apply. Take a contour foundation brush in a shade darker than your own skin tone and create contours around hair and jawline. Then do a kissy face, find the natural curve to your cheeks and fill that area in with a dark bronzer. You can then draw contour lines with a foundation brush on the sides of the nose for a sleek finish. Once your done you can blend it all together with a sponge. The final touches are done with the highlighter which is key. Brush highlighter on your cheekbones into your hairline, on your nose, cupid’s bow, and inner corner of your eyes for major luminosity.
