Charlie Puth was hospitalized on Oct. 7 for having the flu, but fortunately, he recovered just enough to power through and perform at his sold out New York City show on Oct. 10. Check out his sweet message to fans and find out if he’s totally cured!
Charlie Puth, 24, had fans freaking out when he Instagrammed a photo of himself covered in blankets in a hospital bed along with the announcement that his Raleigh, NC show would be canceled! However, he was back on stage just a few days later to bring the house down for a sold-out crowd at the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY.
“Still sick, but got through it tonight. I do it for you all!!” Charlie tweeted after the show. “What an incredible night at The Beacon. Thank you NYC. Truly special night,” he added.
Fans who attended the show report that Charlie sounded amazing, despite his condition. “Yo @charlieputh was sick and still killed the show tonight. His vocals are exactly the same live and over the radio,” @koolAidcody tweeted. “@charlieputh you were amazing last night! So happy you came out to sing even though you were still sick,” @castillocamila1 agreed.
Charlie was also proud to post a cool photo on his Instagram of the sold-out theater’s front:
We’re glad the “We Don’t Talk Anymore” singer is feeling a little better, but as he pointed out, he’s still sick — we hope he doesn’t overdo it!
Charlie is in the midst of his nationwide Don’t Talk tour, and he’ll be stopping in countless states before the tour wraps up in November. We’re sure he’s going to be feeling 100% better soon!
