The “downcast and pensive” Tom chatted up his friends, probably talking about how he’s the latest name the “Blank Space” singer can add to her list of ex-boyfriends. Tom and Taylor’s romance reportedly fell apart when Tom wanted them to be far more public, while Taylor was hoping to keep the love on the DL. It seems that the two couldn’t reach a compromise and after three months together, Hiddleswift (or Swiddleton) were no more.
Tom’s sad and brokenhearted look was completely opposite to Taylor’s, as she was all smiles when she walked the streets of New York City on Sept. 6, the same day everyone found out she was single again. Well, after all, this isn’t her first breakup. Just ask Calvin Harris, 32, Harry Styles, 22, or any of her other former lovers.
Perhaps Tom’s crestfallen expression was due to him thinking about how he was reportedly looking at engagement rings for Taylor before the split? It seems that he was thinking about making her the one just one-month into the relationship. Yikes. The poor man fell hard for Taylor, so wonder he seemed so sad following the breakup
Maybe Calvin can help Tom out with some needed bro time as he inducts Loki into the “Taylor Swift Exes Club.” He might also be able to introduce Tom to some ladies. After all, Calvin has reportedly struck up a brand new relationship with the drop-dead gorgeous model Eiza Gonzalez, 26.
If Calvin can’t play Cupid, maybe he can chat up his BFF (and Taylor’s squad member) Ellie Goulding, 29, for some help. She was the one who connected Calvin and Taylor — so perhaps she can play matchmaker when Tom gets back to England?
