It's a boy! Tess Holliday, 30, and her fiancee, Nick Holliday, 30, welcomed their first child together, a son, named Bowie Juniper Holliday, who was born on June 6. We are totally gushing over baby Bowie Juniper! Tess didn’t mention who he was named after, but we couldn’t help but think of the late David Bowie. Bowie weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs., 10 oz., and measured 22 inches long. “Bowie Juniper Holliday, welcome to the world & I are in love,” Tess tweeted with a picture of her holding her son. So cute!

Leading up to giving birth, the plus-sized model shared a gorgeous nude, bathroom selfie of her pregnancy belly on Instagram. “When people say to me, ‘I can’t tell you’re pregnant.’ I will continue to live unapologetically, to thrive in this body, prove the naysayers wrong & laugh at the ignorance,” she captioned the truly stunning photo.

Tess continued the nude photoshoot trend, by posing for the Telegraph. In the caption of one image she posted on social media, she also advocated for other plus-sized women. “Just because we’re plus size, doesn’t mean we have to prove that we’re healthy, just as someone who is smaller than us or average size doesn’t have to prove they are healthy,” she wrote. “We should be able to exist in our bodies. I am technically healthy, but my body is no more valid than someone’s who isn’t.” How amazing!

Tess has a ten-year-old son Rylee, from a previous relationship, but Bowie is her first child with Nick. Briefly before she gave birth, she expressed her excitement for the newest addition to her family. “It’s been 10 years since I had a kid, so there are so many things that are new,” she told PEOPLE. “My friends that have babies are posting all of these new swings and breastfeeding techniques and new bottles, and it’s really overwhelming because I thought, ‘I’ve already done all this,’ but it feels like I haven’t. I’m having to relearn a lot!”

Getting back into the swing of breastfeeding and diaper duty may be overwhelming, but we’re sure she will handle motherhood spectacularly! And hopefully she get some help from Rylee. We’re so excited to see more pictures of Bowie as he continues to grow.
