Police in Melbourne Beach, FL reported that Kate was booked the night of June 13 after a domestic violence investigation launched when the Bravo star’s girlfriend went to work with bruising on her arm, TMZ reported. Kate allegedly tried to kick her drunk girlfriend out of their house and when she refused to leave, Kate bit her in the forearm, bicep and leg, police reported. Kate also put a knee on top of her girlfriend’s head, choked her, and tried to stop her from breathing. Wow, we are so glad her girlfriend was ok.
Kate was arrested and booked for felony domestic violence with the charge of battery by strangulation. The reality TV star appeared in court the afternoon of June 14 and posted a $5,000 bond. As of right now that is all we know about this tragic incident of domestic violence.

Kate came out back in January, posting PDA-filled pics of her and another woman on Twitter. “I think everybody’s just as surprised as I am by the photos. You know, I am currently dating a girl. She’s amazing. I never, ever imagined myself dating a girl. I never was attracted to girls. So I’m a little caught off guard, but she’s just a really special person,” Kate told The Daily Dish. “We met just met in our hometown at a bar one night and started chatting. I thought she was really cool, and I never thought it would ever lead to anything romantic and then just over time it did.” It is heartbreaking to think that violence entered this relationship.
