The trip was a chance for Zayn to recharge and get away from the stress of work and relationships,” an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He needed space to clear his head from all the relationship drama surrounding him and Gigi. He is staying busy and keeping his mind off Gigi and trying to decide whether or not he wants to be in a committed relationship.”
Whoa, maybe this trip isn’t just for fun after all! Even if Zayn is trying to keep his mind off Gigi, 21, while he’s on vacay — and bringing some blonde gals along to help with that — it sounds like a little R&R might be a great way to figure out if he messed up by ending things with Gigi. Who knows, depending on how things go in Jamaica, Zigi might be back on once Zayn returns back to the states!
Considering it doesn’t seem like Gigi has quite gotten over the breakup, she’d probably love to have her ex beg for her to take her back. She was just caught wearing her Z pendant necklace on June 4, and she Snapchatted a video of herself singing along to Zayn’s track “Pillowtalk” that same night. With Gigi sending (fairly obvious) subliminal messages like that, it’s not super shocking that Zayn would need to escape for a week!
Heck, Gigi even said she still had a boyfriend in a post-breakup announcement interview on June 3 — and if she really is broken up from Zayn, he’s probably not too happy to hear that! On the flip side, though, Gigi’s “boyfriend” reference could mean they might be even closer to getting back together than we think. We suppose we’ll just have to see what happens once Zayn returns from Jamaica!
