Columbus Short’s Wife Confesses To Shocking Hook Up With Jay Z: I Was His First ‘Becky’

Has ‘Becky with the good hair’ been found? Karrine Steffans, wife of alleged cheater Columbus Short, says she was one of Jay Z’s first ‘Beckys,’ claiming she and Hova hooked up on the beaches of Malibu!

If Beyonce, 34, wants some advice about “Beckys,” she may want to call up Karrine Steffans, 37, because she knows a thing or two about them. The Confessions of a Video Vixen author threw her husband, Columbus Short, 33, out of their home after he allegedly cheated on her. Yet, Karrine’s has also been a “betrayer of women,” as she claims she had a passionate hook up with Jay Z, 46.

“Over 15 years ago, I had Beyonce’s husband,” Karrine wrote on April 29 at XO Jane. “Yes, I was one of Jay Z’s Beckys back in the year 2000 for about three minutes, which is about as long it takes me to satisfy a man in the back of a Maybach while overlooking the beaches of Malibu.”

First off, TMI. Yet, Karrine wasn’t even close to being done. She claimed to be a “21-year-old California transplant who’d been tossed into my first music video after a fateful meeting with director Hype Williams,” when she hooked up with Jay. However, this alleged hook-up happened “pre-Yonce,” according to Karrine, and whenever she ran into Jay again, “we never mentioned our Malibu melee and acted as if it never happened. My cousin Chuck would be livid.” Yet, while admitting to being a “Becky,” Karrine still said she also knows the pain of being a wife who has been allegedly betrayed by her husband.

“I am Becky with the good hair. I am Beyoncé. I am the keeper of secrets, the betrayer of women, the confessor of my sins, the owner of my secrets, lies and salvations,” she wrote at the end of her confession. “I have traded in my Scarlet A for a Scarlet Bey.”

Jay Z is not the only major hip hop star that Karrine has allegedly slept with, as she detailed her many rap affairs in her tell-all book. She wasn’t too thrilled when the tables were turned and she reportedly discovered her man was two-timing her. Karrine was so mad, she threw out all of Columbus’s clothes and kicked him out of their home! While fans mocked the Scandal star, he tried to “stand strong” despite being “homeless!”
