“Justin wants Selena to put her career on the back burner and be his girlfriend and have a career second,” a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Anyone can imagine how this is going over with Selena. She really wants to be with him and will give him a chance when their schedules work, which is most likely after their individual tours finish but she isn’t going to sacrifice her career for a guy. She wants to be with Justin but on mutual terms and not only what he wants!”
Okay, we understand that Justin is eager to get back with Selena, but isn’t it a bit strange that he wants her to abandon her career for him? That doesn’t exactly sound like boyfriend material, Justin!
When Selena showed up at Justin’s last Purpose show in LA, the pair reportedly had a serious conversation about getting back together in JB’s dressing room. While they both revealed they still have feelings for each other, Justin and Sel also agreed that it would be best to wait until after their respective tours are over to start another relationship. Just days later, apparently Justin is rethinking their decision, but at Selena’s expense — and that’s not going to fly with her!
Besides, Justin is the one who is seemingly having a tough time on the road. In the same week, JB had a backstage meltdown and cancelled his meet and greets for the rest of his tour. On top of all of that, touring has Justin missing Sel more than ever! Maybe he should be the one to put his career on the back burner for Selena, instead of the other way around?
Even if neither Justin nor Selena end up sacrificing for each other, they’ve made it pretty evident that they’d like another relationship with each other eventually. Before they reunited at his show, Justin shared a throwback kissing pic of himself and Sel, which she commented on calling it “perfect.” There’s plenty of Jelena fans hoping that they’ll give love another try, but we’re thinking they wouldn’t want that to mean that Justin or Selena’s careers are put on hold!
