Lindsay Lohan Running For President In 2020 — Taking After Kanye West – Hollywood Life

Lindsay Lohan Vows To Run For President In 2020, Just Like Kanye West

Could Lindsay Lohan be our future President of the United States? We'll just let you think about that notion for a second. The fiery red head has been inspired by Kanye West and is now contemplating a 2020 Presidential run. We're totally serious, too. Lindsay Lohan, 29, may soon  be running the free world. Considering she barely made it through court appointed community service, we doubt she'd be able to handle complex economic issues and foreign affairs. Still, the Mean Girls star thinks she has a shot at becoming president, as she has been inspired by Kanye West's potential run for the White House!

Mean Girls

Showing off a picture of herself at the 2012 White House Correspondents Dinner on Instagram Oct. 16, she captioned the photo, “In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this @kanyewest #truespirits thank you for inspiring us to be better people @barackobama #kanyewest2020 #lindsaylohanat35 #lindsaylohan2020 with #34yearsofEXPERIENCE #unitingWORLDnations.”

Lindsay followed that post up with an old photo of herself and Kanye noting, “The first thing I would like to do as president of the United States is take care of all of the children suffering in the world. #queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country.” We won’t bother to get into the fact that the U.S. is a democracy, while Lindsay’s current home in England is ruled by a Monarchy.

But fear not, even if she wanted to be the President in 2020, she’d still be too young. Law dictates the Commander in Chief must be at least 35 years old and Linds would only be 34 when the election rolled around.

We’re assuming Lindsay was kidding with her posts. Kanye West, however, has been much more serious about his goal for the White House in 2020. After dropping the news at the 2015 VMAs that he had presidential aspirations, he then followed up with Vanity Fair, confirming he was totally serious about his lofty goal. “I sit in clubs and I’m like, Wow, I’ve got five years before I go and run for office and I’ve got a lot of research to do, I’ve got a lot of growing up to do.”

HollywoodLifers, would you ever consider voting for Lindsay Lohan as president?
