Selena was there to promote her upcoming album Revival and she told Matt Lauer: “Ultimately I have been shifting and growing in this transition in my life. I want to be heard and don’t want anyone to speak for me.” She also spoke about her struggle with Lupus: “I’m healthy … I shouldn’t eat all the things I do eat. I can’t wait to share my new album with everyone.” She also sang “Same Old Love” and it was so hot! We really think Selena is back and better than ever, we were so impressed.

Then Selena sang her 2013 hit “Come & Get It” and transitioned into “Me & The Rhythm.” She spent most of the time walking out into the crowd to high five her fans and it was sweet. She genuinely seemed so happy to be there with everyone and we couldn’t help but dance along the whole time! Selena recently made a shocking admission in Billboard that she has been suffering from Lupus for several years. “I was diagnosed with Lupus, and I’ve been through chemotherapy,” she said. “That’s what my break was really about. I could’ve had a stroke. I wanted so badly to say, ‘You guys have no idea. I’m in chemotherapy. You’re assholes.’ I locked myself away until I was confident and comfortable again.”
