August was performing in Baton Rogue, Louisiana on Sept. 25, reports MTV. He clearly thought he would make the concert special for a single fan by singing to her while she sat on stage. But, during the song, August put his hands on her chest and rubbed her breasts through her top. The lady quickly moved her hands up to seemingly stop him from touching her there but he continued to hold on.

Someone in the audience recorded the incident and once the video hit the Internet, social media exploded! Some users called what he did “disgusting” and “sexual harassment. Others pointed out that the woman looked “embarrassed.” Some users slammed stans who defended August’s actions by saying the “Hold You Down” singer did nothing wrong.
However, August didn’t seem to care about what anyone said. On Sept. 28, he posted a screenshot of a photo from Instagram user TaylinAndBailee. “Taylin” appears to be the woman in the video (though the account is now private.) “Taylin” reportedly seemed okay with what happened that night and she supposedly posted a photo of her on stage with the alleged caption, “last night don’t owe me anything ft. AugustAlsina.”
August then gave a shout out to “that beautiful young lady” before slamming all his “ignorant” and “weak” haters. Still, some argued that just because “Taylin” was allegedly okay with what August did, it still wasn’t okay to grab a woman like that.
