Dorina and her husband Maika are planning on delivering their child in a so-called dolphin-assisted birth in the ocean off the shores Hawaii. Lucky for us, it will be televised on a new show called, Extraordinary Births, hosted by Katie Piper.

Experts strongly believe that a dolphin-assisted birth may be the worst idea ever, and we couldn’t agree more. A report published by Christie Wilcox at Discover Magazine explains that although dolphins seem to be adorable aquatic creatures — they’re ferocious.

She stated in her article,“Not only do dolphins kill other animals, they kill baby dolphins using the same brutal tactics. No matter how cute they might appear, dolphins are not cuddly companions; they are real, large, ocean predators with a track record for violence — even when it comes to humans.”

Yet, Dorina feels confident she will be one with nature and that her baby will come into this world knowing how to speak dolphin. Interesting. Dolphins aside, Dorina and Maika do know that there are tons of hungry sharks that flock to blood right? All mammals, animals, insects and what not, are unpredictable — yet, these two are willing to push the boundaries of nature. It’s very scary.
