Well, Taylor is in the lead for VMA nominations, the least she could do is spread the wealth and help some of her friends win! MTV announced the nominations for the socially-voted category, “Song of the Summer” on Aug. 18 for the upcoming VMAs and Taylor earned herself another nom! However, instead of voting for herself with the #BadBloodVMA tag, she decided to cast her vote for her 23-year-old bestie. “#GoodForYouVMA,” Taylor tweeted. The “Wonderland” singer’s vote isn’t too surprising since Taylor is so supportive of her friends!
But, the move to vote for Selena definitely comes at an interesting time. Especially since Selena was heard saying she loves Zayn the same day the English singer threw shade at Taylor. “I know Zayn, so it’s almost like if he would ever want to reach out, he knows that he could,” Selena revealed. “So I don’t know what he’s doing creatively. I think that’s so exciting for him to go and figure out what he wants to do, but I don’t know what that is. I think it’ll be pretty exciting but, yes, I love him, he’s awesome.” But of course, all is well between the two BFFs because Taylor is basically saying no hard feelings to Selena!
Selena Refuses To Collaborate With Zayn Unless He Apologizes To Taylor
Even though the 23-year-old knows Taylor will support her no matter what, Selena is taking back her decision to possibly collaborate with Zayn. “Selena has always been cool with Zayn,” an insider close to Selly told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She’s even considered collaborating with him, but now she’s having major second thoughts after he dissed Taylor.” Yikes. Zayn is just burning bridges left and right. If he really wants to work with Selenas, he’s going to have to apologize to Taylor before Selena even considers collaborating with him again!
