Congrats, girl! Ann Wilson, the lead singer of ’80s pop power group Heart walked down the aisle in a gorgeous ceremony on April 25 in Topanga, California. The songstress wed her longtime partner Dean Wetter in a very non-traditional way.
Aww! Unlike Heart’s most famous track, Ann Wilson, 64, is no longer “Alone.” The band’s front-woman exchanged vows with Dean Wetter, 64, in front of an intimate group of friends and family on a beautiful spring day in Southern California. “We are super blessed to be sharing life together,” the couple gushes after their big day. We have all of Ann and Dean’s “I do” details!
Ann Wilson Wedding: Heart Singer Marries Dean Wetter
Beneath a canopy of flowers, Ann and Dean became husband and wife in front of their closest family members and best friends. The magical ceremony took place in the backyard of Ann’s manager, Carol Peters.
Ann explains her unique love story with Dean. “Dean and I first met in the ’80s and went on a date where we both got smashed and I tried to seduce him. Like the gentleman he is, he declined. Years passed, we got back in touch after we had both grown up, and Pow! – It worked! Did it ever!” Ann told People.
As for Ann’s bridal style, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee donned a bright purple gown by BFF designer Anthony Sartino, pairing it with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and showing off her 2-carat white diamond set in a platinum band, and rose-cut white diamonds set in white-gold briolette earrings by Rose de France.
