You’d think checking out engagement rings would undoubtedly bring a couple closer together. Well, not for Jelena as Justin turned a sweet idea very sour, according to a new report from Life & Style.
While Justin and Selena slowed things down in Oct. 2014 and called it quits, the pair reportedly tried to revive their relationship by giving it one last shot in December, when they checked out engagement rings at a Tiffany & Co. in Beverly Hills. But apparently, it was anything but romantic.

The mag’s source explains that when a bystander at the store asked Selena and Justin if they would marry one day, “Selena said, ‘I hope so!'”
But behind Sel’s back, Justin was, “mouthing the word ‘No!’ and he motioned with his hand to his throat like a ‘cut it out!’ sign, while shaking his head,” their eyewitness explained.
Ouch, that’s gotta hurt! Needless to say, an engagement ring was not purchased.

While the “Heart Knows What It Wants” singer has suffered tons of heartbreak because of Justin, we’re glad that she’s been able to move on with current beau, Zedd, 25.
A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she sees a bright future with the DJ. In fact, Selena sees him being a great husband and father one day. Sorry ’bout it, Biebs!
“She thinks Zedd is marriage material and perfect dad material. They’ve talked about kids and both of them want a big family,” an insider says. “Selena says wherever they go, babies and little kids always gravitate towards Zedd because he’s so silly and fun to be around. Plus, she says he’s super patient.”
