Lily James Slams Reports That Her Waistline Was Photoshopped In ‘Cinderella’

Our new Cinderella is setting the record straight after critics accused Disney of using Photoshop to make her already slender waist appear even smaller in the new live action version of the classic fairytale. Find out what Lily has to say! Yes, Lily James' waistline really is that tiny... sort of. In a new interview with ABC's "Nightline," the 25-year-old Cinderella star slams speculation that special effects were used to make her appear slimmer and explains the real reason why her waist looks so small.

Lily James’ Waist Photoshopped In ‘Cinderella’? — Actress Slams The Reports

“I have naturally a quite small waist,” Lily told ABC’s “Nightline” when asked about the reports.

“And on top of that I have a corset that was pulled me into the inch of my life,” she added. “And then the skirt is so big that the perspective and the proportions make it look smaller than it is.”

Lily also revealed that the corset slimmed her waist down to just 17 inches. That’s enough to make Scarlett O’Hara pea green with envy!

Richard Madden: Were ‘Cinderella’ Star’s Eyes Photoshopped?

That’s not the only Photoshop controversy that’s struck Cinderella. There have also been rumors that Richard Madden, who plays the Prince Charming to Lily’s Cinderella, wore contact lenses to make his eyes appear bluer in the film. But director Kenneth Branagh has denied this speculation as well.

“He was not wearing blue contact lenses,” he said. “He has very, very striking blue eyes and when beautifully lit by Haris Zambarloukos, these make for a very strong impact. We did not Photoshop Lily’s waist… everything you see is what was there.”

OK, so Lily James really is that skinny and Richard Madden’s eyes really are that blue, and we hate them both.
