‘Forever’ Spoilers: Will Henry & Jo Get Together?

Come on already!

Shippers of Henry and Jo (Jenry? Henro? Let’s work on it.) have been waiting practically since the series began for the two to finally kindle their romantic flame, so, when can we really expect to see it go down? Well, sadly, it might be later rather than sooner.

“I love the fact that their relationship and love for each other is built on a partnership — the foundation is friends and trust,” Alana told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “The best love stories start like that. I don’t know when that will be! Season two or 20? I would lean more toward the latter probably. It’s a neat thing to explore: these two very different but very similar characters are gonna come together, they’re both wounded and hurt and have lost the love of their lives.”

Season 20? Um, I don’t think we can wait that long!

‘Not Too Soon’

While fans certainly don’t want to wait 20 seasons to see the two get together, Ioan actually agreed with Alana that it can’t happen too soon.

“This is the thing: it’d  be lovely if they got together, but not too soon,” Ioan said. “And it would be interesting to do a whole season where maybe they were together but the secret hasn’t bee revealed. It’s hard to really ask the audience to empathize with him because he’s in a relationship with another character and he’s  not telling the whole truth about himself. I think the tension would be lost if he did confess to her. I think that’s the beauty of the whole thing that she doesn’t know this about him.”

Well, if it does take a while for Jo and Henry to get together, I guess we’ll just go with, better late than never, right?
