‘Glee’: Santana & Brittany Engaged & Getting Married — Season 6 Episode 3 Recap – Hollywood Life

‘Glee’ Recap: Santana Proposes To Brittany

Oh em glee! Following an awesome mashup performance on the Jan. 16 episode of 'Glee,' Santana got down on one knee and proposed to Brittany, the love of her life. Find out if she said yes! So much happened on the Jan. 16 episode of Glee. Santana (Naya Rivera) proposed to Brittany (Heather Morris), Coach Beiste (Dot Jones) revealed a big secret, Kurt (Chris Colfer) dealt with heartache, and Becky (Lauren Potter) called Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) "b****es" and "whores." It was amazing!

Santana & Brittany Get Engaged

First, Santana totally proposed to Brittany after confessing how happy the pretty blonde makes her. Unsurprisingly, Brittany said yes, but their happy moment was soon ruined by a heartbroken Kurt. He’s obviously still reeling from his breakup with Blaine (Darren Criss) — he stood up and said everyone should have learned a lesson from his failed engagement and they’re all too young to be getting married. (Sorry, Kurt, but we beg to differ.) Oh, and Santana told Brittany she wants them to move to New York City together.

Coach Beiste Reveals A Big Secret

Coach Shannon Beiste has been taking a lot of time off, so when Principal Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) became suspicious, she was forced to reveal a huge secret — she’s planning on transitioning into a man. At first, Sue thought she had cancer, but that was just a lie Beiste told her for the time being. She’s currently on medication and has taken the first step into transitioning, which Sam (Chord Overstreet) seemed completely confused by. “So you want to be a gay man?” were a few of his exact words.

Kurt Misses Blaine & Deals With Heartache

Kurt ran into Blaine and Dave Karofsky while searching for sheet music, which was totally awkward. Kurt totally misses Blaine and throughout the entire episode, he was haunted by sweet memories of their relationship. He even shed a tear and took his anger out on some of the newbies during glee club practice. Ironically, it’s just what the kids needed to get motivated. Meanwhile, Kurt admitted to Brittany that he’s not ready to move on from Blaine, yet she tried convincing him to find someone new. (If Kurt and Blaine don’t end up together in the end, we’re going to go crazy!)

Becky Brings Home Her New Boyfriend

Lastly, Becky came home to show off her new boyfriend (he’s hot!). The only problem was that she totally lied to him and said she was the president of every club at McKinley High, including the glee club. While explaining her predicament to Quinn and Tina, Becky totally called them “b****es” and “whores.” (So insanely funny!)  Also, when Sue and the girls found out Becky’s boyfriend does not have Down syndrome, they assumed the worst. Luckily, he turned out to be really sweet and has no plans of taking advantage of Becky, who’s so adorable.

The drama was so insane this week, that I almost forgot to mention the music! (What was I thinking?!) This week’s tracks included mash ups between two legends — Carole King and Alanis Morissette! See the full list of songs below:

“It’s Too Late” (Carole King) – Blaine & Kurt

“Hand In My Pocket” (Alanis Morissette)/”I Feel The Earth Move” (Carole King) – Santana & Brittany

“Head Over Feet” (Alanis Morissette)/”Will You Love Me Tomorrow” (Carole King) – Jane & Mason
