Don’t expect Lil Wayne to jump on the support bandwagon if Kylie and Tyga decide to take their friendship to the next level (when it’s legal, of course). He finds their relationship to be ‘disgraceful,’ according to a new report.
Tyga, 24, and Kylie Jenner‘s close friendship is causing quite a stir — it’s beginning to negatively impact their careers. The “Rack City” rapper is reportedly asking to be released from his label, Young Money Entertainment, because the president and founder, Lil Wayne, is allegedly refusing to release some of his new music due to Tyga’s relationship with the underage Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.
Tyga Dating Kylie Jenner: Lil Wayne Upset, Blocks Rapper’s New Music
So why is Lil Wayne so upset by their friendship? It has a lot to do with the fact that Lil Wayne’s oldest daughter is the same age as Kylie, MediaTakeOut.com reports.
“[Lil Wayne] thinks that it’s disgraceful that Tyga is [possibly] dating Kylie, who is the same age as [his oldest] daughter Reginae. Reginae and Kylie are actually friends,” a source told the site.
“Wayne thinks it’s a bad example for his daughter, who is in the [music] business, and surrounded by rappers,” the source added.
Lil Wayne is reportedly blocking Tyga from releasing features, on tracks with the 17-year-old.
“Tyga’s been recording music with Kylie, he’s hoping to make her a star, but Wayne won’t release any of Tyga’s features on her tracks. Wayne basically put a VETO on Kylie and Tyga’s singing/rapping careers,” the insider said. “Tyga is upset and trying to leave, he thinks that Lil Wayne is holding up his music, which is true.”
Of course, Lil Wayne, 32, may be overreacting because Tyga denies he’s dating Kylie.
