Bloomberg’s Daughter Gives Birth: Georgina Bloomberg & Boyfriend Welcome Son For Christmas
Georgina, 30, gave birth to her little boy at 4:34 p.m. on Dec. 24 in New York City. Baby Jasper weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, her spokesperson told the NY Daily News. Both mom and baby are said to be “doing great.”
Georgina and Ramiro, 36, have known each other since she was only 15! The pair decided that a “fairytale” wedding just wasn’t for them — but their baby’s birth is such an exciting milestone for the long-term couple.
The pair honored both of Georgina’s parents with her baby’s name. Michael is Mayor Bloomberg’s first name, and Brown may be in honor of her mother Susan Brown‘s name.
Mayor Bloomberg Thrilled To Be A Grandpa
“I’m thrilled and just so proud of Georgina,” Mayor Bloomberg told the NY Daily News. “[Georgina and Ramiro] are going to make really wonderful parents, and what an incredible way to start the new year.”
The mayor will be ending his 12-year, 3-term run as New York City’s mayor in the new year 2014, but he’s taking over an even more exciting title: grandpa!
