Paul Walker Burned Alive — Footage Reveals He Was Trapped After Crash

Wed, December 4, 2013 12:10pm EDT by 47 Comments

The news on Paul Walker’s death just keeps getting more and more horrifying. CNN is reporting that Paul was trapped in the Porsche Carerra GT for up to a minute before it burst into flames, engulfing Paul and his friend Roger Rodas on Nov. 30. Were they both tragically burned alive?

How terrible. Paul Walker‘s last moments after his car crashed in Santa Clarita, Calif. were captured by security cameras across the street — but the car didn’t show any smoke rising from it immediately after the accident, suggesting that Paul and the driver, Roger Rodas, were burned alive. The disturbing video doesn’t show the actual crash, but shows the explosion one minute after the car hits a tree and light pole. Read on to find out Paul and Roger’s autopsy results.

Paul Walker Burned Alive: Died Of Traumatic And Thermal Injuries

The footage, taken from a building’s security camera on the opposite side of the street, doesn’t show the car crashing due to a wall blocking the street view, reports CNN. However, it does show a light pole and tree falling — and black smoke coming from the crash one minute later. The smoke becomes thicker after two minutes, eventually turning into gigantic flames.

Paul and Roger’s autopsy results were released by the Los Angeles County Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner on Dec. 4. Paul, 40, was died of “combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries,” sadly confirming that he was burned alive. Roger, 38 died of multiple traumatic injuries.

The injuries occurred due to automobile versus fixed objects, which would be the trees and the pole that they hit. Both deaths have been ruled an accident. There will be toxicology reports for both men killed, that will be available in six to eight weeks.

Paul & Roger’s Autopsies Were Delayed

After the fatal crash, the bodies of both Paul and Roger were unidentifiable, according to TMZ. They completed the autopsy on Dec. 3, according to AP.

The case “had been placed on security hold,” Lieutenant Fred Corral of the LA County Coroner’s Division told Us Weekly. The identification of the bodies had reportedly been delayed until Dec. 3 because the coroner had been waiting to receive dental records for Paul and Roger, according to TMZ. It’s unclear why the case is on security hold at this time.

“I’m not sure if the bodies have been identified or if the examinations were complicated. We’ve been extremely busy here,” Lt. Corral told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY . ”The only time we would put someone’s autopsy on security hold is at the request of the police department or at our own request. That simply means that the case has not been completed.”

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by Paul and Roger’s deaths.

Previous owner of the Porsche carrera gt Indycar driver graham rahal said before he sold the Car “it was difficult tot drive. It is not just fast-it can hit 100 mph in less than 7 seconds- but also unforgiving it it’s handling.” Now this came from a professional racecar driver you can even search him up.

Reading this from across the pond, what a despicable bunch of individuals you are to persist with this line of reporting. Utterly sickening and sensationalist. You should all be truly ashamed. Semantically speaking you may be accurate in your speculative line of reporting but realistically? No, at that speed and from an impact such as that no one would have been conscious or aware of what was happening. Let this man and his friend rest in peace now. Enough, you vile creatures.

Heartbroken Mom

Posted at 4:29 AM on December 6, 2013

I believe, according to
the autopsy, Paul was still alive but either unconscious or so confused at the
time that his body or God did not let him feel the fire. My 15 yr old son
burned to death in a barn fire just 4 years ago. He too was burned beyond recognition. His autopsy showed the same thing,
that he died from smoke inhalation, that there was soot in his airway so he did
breathe it in. But he actually died from smoke inhalation, not the fire, is
what the coroner told me. I don’t believe the coroner knows this for sure and I
think maybe he told me this just to help my feelings because no mom wants to
hear that their son suffered like that! This tragic accident of Paul and
his friend brings back the day my son died. It is the most horrible thing
a parent can go through. I understand that Paul was loved and adored by so many
people BUT I think it is just horrible for details like this to be
posted for the world to see. No parent wants to bury their child,
especially knowing they suffered a horrific death. And no parent or family member
should have to see things posted online stating he was alive and burned to
death! What has this world come to that it is okay to write stories like
this (that Paul burned alive) and have people think it is okay for this to
be the world’s business?? : / I’m so
confused! So sad!!

R.I.P. Paul walker
Ok looking at the footage gets me thinking how fast were they going to knock down a cement light post I mean that should of been the first thing to stop them but it clearly shows that they take down the post and the tree real quick and that’s where my brain just can’t seem to get. A cement post goes down and then the post was still supported so how is that. Another thing why let a man who has a record of crashing fast cars drive one, should of yanked his license. Another thing is to check the cameras on the building in front of the crash site, could help maybe.

Unfortunately Paul was still alive…. Rodas died from the impact. I really don’t wanna point this out but if you watch the video closely, the one with the car on fire right when the first person gets there to “try” and help..you can see someone struggling in the fire :(

It’s sad but true…I watched the video and I could clearly see that someone was still moving and had a bad feeling that it was him not his friend. This is really heartbreaking and sad. I wish I was just seeing things and that he died on impact not like this. RIP Paul
