LuAnn De Lesseps Wants A New Boyfriend Who’s More ‘Age-Appropriate’
LuAnn broke up with Jacques a month ago, and finally stated why she decided that a split was necessary.
“There was a lot of frustration on both ends in that I know that Jacques would love to have a family,” LuAnn told RadarOnline. “At this point in my life, with my daughter going to college and my son just turned 17, I realized that I’m not ready to start over again. So we decided to mutually separate.”
So does this mean she’s open to dating again?
“I hope I’ll go on to meet the right person for me, who already has a family, who is already kind of ‘been there and done that’ and [is] maybe a little bit more age appropriate. Not that Jacques isn’t, but having somebody a little older might be good for me,” she said.
We’re sad that LuAnn and Jacques decided to break up, but we have no doubt that the chic Countess will find another (and possibly older) love interest soon!

“Yes, it’s true. They are at different points in their lives and it’s amicable,” her rep told HollywoodLife.com. We’re so glad there’s no bad feelings between the two.
LuAnn was previously married to French nobleman Count Alexandre de Lesseps and divorced in 2009. They have two children from the marriage, Victoria and Noel.
“[Alexandre] will always love me. He’s never been able to find anyone after me, ever!” she EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com
Looks like we’ll have to wait for all the drama unfold on the sixth season of the Real Housewives of New York to see if LuAnn finds an older man to date — or go back to her ex-husband!
