Of course is latin, the whole sentence she says is something like “hos est infantem a malum
Nos omnia perdetu eam” This is the baby from evil, we all lose (it might also mean we shall destroy him)

It means, :”We all lose the infant.”. Some of the latin words she was saying were left out.

Latim, but the syntax is wrong. Lose the “el”.

So when Halyely was searching the witch lady’s phrase, and it kept saying “no results found” does that mean that the website couldn’t find the translation or there is no actual baby? :O

If it really is “el eam”

then it would be to her…which further complicates things.

hoc est infantim a malom,
This is a girl-infant of misfortune/evil (depends on context)

nos omnia perdetu illiam
We, all things, will lose to them.

I believe it to be saying that the child will unite the Originals, and thus cost the witches everything,

Could also bemerely an omen of misfortune to come (losing Davina to originals)

Also possible that once grown she will simply be unstoppable and be a harsher mistress than marcel is a master.

In fact what she says is (in Latin):

Hoc est Infanti malom
Nos omnia perditu el eam

Which means

Here is the child of Evil
We will all be destroyed

The witch says:
Hoc est Infanti ma malom
Nos omnia perditu el eam

In Latin Google translate says:

This is an infant, the most evil of all of us
and it may be destroyed

More evil than Klaus!! Yikes!!

Just my two cents but I would try to google translate from latin :
bad infanti . Nos omnia perditu eliam
or even more interesting :
Nos omnia perditu elia

I think klaus’s mother who was a witch and was killed is trying to come back through the baby.

It means “we will lose everything” or “everyone will lose it”, because “onmis” is “everything”, “perdetu” is similar in spanish to “perder”, which means “lose” and “nos” in spanish and latin is “us”. And I guess that “el” would have the same meaning in spanish and latin, “the” or at least is the male determinant of “eam”, which is “it”.

At first I thought it was Latin because there are Latin words in it. But I guess a translate machine would translate latin. It could be because Eam = it and Nos = we. So it could be the child. And we could be like ”everyone”.

The way Joseph Morgan acts it so brilliant, there are no words that can truly describe how great he is but here are few , he is incredibly ,gorgeously handsome and talented.Rebekah always gorgeous. And finally I get to see Elijah’s beautiful hair and his handsome face.

Had a feeling the baby would be evil but I didn’t think it would be a girl. I thought it would be a son challenging his father. Like I said if a girl name her Vanessa. Vanessa Mikaelson has a nice ringtone to it and it sounds evillllllllllllllllllll.
