‘Teen Mom 3’ Star Katie Yeager’s Baby’s Dad Allegedly Broke Her Nose

The 'Teen Mom 3' couple have had their highs and lows -- from getting engaged and moving in together to Joey angrily storming out of the house, their most dramatic moments are all on the show. Or are they? A new report uncovers a particularly violent moment that cameras missed -- a fight that allegedly left Katie's nose broken. Katie Yeager had her fair share of drama with her daughter's father Joey Maes -- and a lot of it was captured on MTV's Teen Mom 3. But their rocky relationship and move-in woes continued even when the cameras weren't rolling, and a new report claims that an October 2012 fight between the pair left Katie with a broken nose.

 Katie Yeager & Boyfriend Fight — ‘Teen Mom 3’ Star Allegedly Abused By Baby’s Father

Katie’s 2012 move-in with Joey was well documented on the show, but every subsequent fight — and quick move-ins and move-outs were not filmed. During this time, a source alleges that a fight between Katie and Joey got physical.

“Katie had just moved back in and they were fighting over everything. Like, the stupid things couples fight about,” a source told Radar Online, explaining:

Joey has really bad anger problems and a really bad temper and he told Katie that he was going to go to anger management and he never kind of went through with it.

The source alleged that in one October 2012 fight, Joey hit Katie and broke her nose. “It’s always been like a physically abusive relationship,” the source told Radar. “It was always with his fists.”

“Katie never pressed charges because she didn’t want [their daughter] Molli to be in the middle of that,” the source explained.

The source claimed that Katie remained calm during the alleged incident and did not retaliate:

She has always remained calm. She never really yells at anything, like, she doesn’t even know how to really yell or shout. So they were both in the fight but she has never caused bodily harm to him or laid her hands on him or anything like that. She’s said her share of hurtful things, but …

Though Katie did not physically fight back, she is reportedly making efforts to distance herself from the toxic relationship.

Every time [he got physical, it was] the last time. No matter what. … After [this alleged incident], Katie was like, enough is enough. He’s not going to change. There’s nothing Katie can do. She couldn’t put herself through it any more. She definitely did not deserve it.
