Lamar Odom’s Dangerous Drug Addiction
Lamar fell deep into his addiction this summer, sometimes spending as much as $1,000 a day to fuel his drug use, according to TMZ.
The heavy abuse reportedly started when Lamar moved into a room at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel, which TMZ reports actually happened in May, much earlier than previously reported. The hotel room was reportedly like a flop house, with Lamar being surrounded by 7 or 8 friends and fellow drug users — even strangers sometimes — who came in and out.
Khloe Kardashian Struggling Along With Lamar Odom
As more information trickles out detailing Lamar’s drug addiction struggles and we learn just how severe they are, we get a better idea of just how awful Khloe must be feeling as well. The man she loves is clearly in an extremely dark place, and the most she can do is plead with him to help himself and hope he listens.
She hasn’t abandoned him yet, but her patience is understandably wearing thin. A source close to Khloe told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that “she’s tired and fed up with the games and wants Lamar to get better so they can continue on with their lives and get back to being happy.”
It looked like they were finally getting back on that path on Sept. 4 when news broke that Lamar checked into a rehab facility. However, after just one day of treatment, Lamar left. “Lamar checked into Robert Shapiro’s rehab center, Pickford Lofts, in West LA and pulled an AMA — Against Medical Advice. He left a day later,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com.
“Lamar isn’t ready,” the source adds. Hopefully, he will be soon.
