Well it was a shame because Sookie was starting to be a strong character, trying to be normal and she goes and has sex with a weird half fairie, half vampire that killed his parents, has an obsession with her, kill all the fairies in club that her grand father warned her and she met 4 days ago? I really don’t get what the writers are trying to do, I’m suppose that Sookie suppose to be a mess right?

Honestly, if it is not a sick plotline, frankly I don’t what sick means anymore.. Anyways, obviously depending on TB writers this strange plotline will have a creep unhappy ending.

Also it’s been two seasons, she gets detached from the main action. She is too self absorbed and seems oblivious to the main crisis and only show up at the last episodes when the writers need her fairyball.

Don’t you think as the show’s appointed heroine, she should get involved in every storylines, particularly the one which brings the show’s major theme of the season. Don’t you think it is a missed opportunity not to use her long forgotten telepathic ability, with her new fairy power to help Eric, Tara, Jason, Jessica and Bill take down the Governor and his vamp camp? We could have had old Sookie back along with a more epic Dallas or Russell house-like vampire human war storyline, instead we got this pathetic Sookie who has no value whatsoever.

Nick, not sure if you are male or female, but I am thinking male as you want a war-like storyline. Us female viewers are more into the sex scenes and seeing Sookie with Ben, him being such gorgeous eye candy, is a great story-line for us. lol
I know personally I am not into a war story-line.

Oh, I’m a 19 years old girl. I hate saying this, being such a long-time fan of serie, but Sookie’s storyline has now become one of the least interesting to me. Sookie is my favorite character in the books but in the show she is further down the line. True Blood Sookie and book Sookie are two totally different people to me. I want her as the center of the show, not like this current peripheral character, instead we got this danger whore Sookie who has no value whatsoever, ie the eternal damsel in distress..

I love Ben, Warlow, and Sookie together. What a great couple. I hope he turns her and makes babies with her. He is drop dead gorgeous and is my new favorite on the show.

If this is what you want, please go watch Twilight. And let True Blood for those who want a more exciting storyline.

I can’t handle True Blood becoming a kind of Twilight 2.0. I just can’t. Oh, no!!

I have never watched Twilight, as it is all kids and I am a bit old to be watching kids. I have however watched every episode of True Blood. Why do you not want Sookie to be in a happy relationship? Frankly I am tired of seeing her hurt and lied to.

In response to your other post about Sookie having an affair with a man who killed her parents, she was a small child at the time and doesn’t even remember it. But she does and will remember Ben saving her from her father trying to kill her recently. As for Ben causing her dad to try and kill her all those years ago, I am not sure he was thinking straight at the time.

If you find the plot-line so sick you can always turn the channel?

I hope so too, Sookie really needs a happiness injection. The last two seasons her sweet naivety and happy disposition have been almost totally decimated, I don’t think I could stand another season with her even more down and out. Bon Temps will always be crazy, a little Sookie/Warlow happiness won’t change that :D

The pairing of Sookie and Warlow has become my favourite, they are now my endgame coupling (previously E & S shipper). I hope she becomes a fairy/vampire hybrid. The pros are almost endless: still able to walk in the sun, doesn’t have to grow old and die, would be able to defend herself with her light and vamp powers, and I’m guessing probably still able to make wee fairy babies — really what is the down side?? Sure Warlow has done some bad things, but so has every other supernatural and person on True Blood. Best of all Warlow is the only vamp Sookie has been with that did not trick her into drinking his blood…respect.

Of course Warlow has done some bad things, but so has every other supernatural and person on True Blood, and even Sookie has also.

But I wonder, instead of Warlow murdering Sookie’s parents, couldn’t he just glamour them into not hurting her. After all, he was responsible as he freak them out by telling them that she was a fairy and he was a vampire coming to claim her through a three hundred year old digusting contract.

Frankly I would never want to have an affair with someone who has just killed my parents, and caused it. No matter what the parents of Sookie did, if not for Warlow, they would not have freaked out like that. Sorry but this plotline is plain sick and digusting. Obviously depending on TB writers, with an unhappy ending.

How could he be sure glamouring would hold? The father is obviously a bit insane as his first and only solution is to kill his own daughter. Her father could have at least tried to think of a few alternatives before pulling out the NyQuil and taking her to the river for a bit of filicide. Besides that Warlow is part vampire and a vampires base instincts is to annihilate problems not give band aid solutions. I love my parents but if they tried to kill me and somebody saved me by killing them I would not hold that against my saviour. I would hold the intention to kill against my parents, no matter how much I loved them.

As far as the contract goes, that is historical context and gives some substance to the storyline. Not so long ago arranged marriages were the norm, contracts were written and honoured. He is obviously trying to get with the modern times and has offered to rip it up.

I don’t find this plot line offensive at all. Recently Eric was about to rape and tear up Willa’s genitals to teach her father a lesson, I actually find that more offensive but I didn’t hear a thing about it on any TB forum. Sick is just in the mind of the beholder.

I really like Warlow/Sookie.. they’re good together. Sure he has problems but so does she. They balance each other out. It probably wont last (especially after fairy club and tossing grandpapa into the other dimension) but I like them. A lot.

Perhaps there can be only one fairy vampire and Warlow will die, or perhaps only Lilith could have created one. Why at the culmination of the Sookie/Warlow sex scene does Warlow look for a moment like a charred corpse? Was I seeing things?

But isn’t Ben/Warlow related to Sookie? In the last episode when we got to see a bit of Warlow’s past he killed of his whole tribe of fairy folk and only left his son behind which is Sookie’s great grandfather. This plot is so strange. I’m I the only one that noticed that the same story Sookie’s grandfather spoke about his whole tribe being killed by Warlow is the same memory Warlow had. Eww, which makes the fairy scene incest.

I agree mishi and I don’t believe Warlow has killed grandpa this time. He said ‘I saved you before and I will save you again.’ I think he just sent him back to the Fairy dimension. Plus we have NO proof that Ben killed the whole fairy village. Just because grandpa smelled his blood is not proof.

I find other things in the story line more offensive than Ben and Sookie together.
Like Terry getting shot, the killing off of 3 of Andy’s daughters? Why was that necessary? I don’t like that they just kill people off for no reason. Terry could have been glamored before it got that far?

@mystweaver1 (for some reason it will not let me reply to your comment.)

Exactly, True Blood is filled with offensive things. The killing of Andy’s kids and Eric getting ready to rape and sexually torture Willa for revenge just seem way more offensive to me than tossing Niall into the purgatory dimension (definitely didn’t kill him) or saving Sookie from her deranged Daddy dearest.

I think he did kill all at the fairy club and I hope they tell us why soon. I’m guessing it was revenge against the Crane family, for sending him to the purgatory dimension and other betrayals. It seemed like Claude Crane and his sisters were the only ones there.

I’m trying to figure out why the writers are trying to push Ben/Warlow off on the viewers? He is even trying to sell to the viewers he is the best for Sookie. At night he becomes a creature of dark throughout this whole season he cries and whines about not wanting to be a vampire and how he can’t control his urge to feed. Maybe, if he didn’t prematurely kill his maker and learned some things I could learn to feel sorry for him. Ben/Warlow is another Bill and need to accept responsibility for his actions. When Eric stood outside the meadow he never moved to attack the fairies. I will never be a Ben/Warlow fan. I love the show and a show such as this there is always someone a person has to love to hate and Ben/Warlow is that person for me. Sookie can understand why Warlow killed her parents I guess she’ll understand why he attacked the fairies in the meadow and threw her great grandfather in another dimension.

Really this plot is full of strange roles, if it is not intentional for some reason, so the writers were drunk when they wrote it. Ben/Warlow strikes me such a creepy try hard, I hope Billith eats him again.

No, she’s not a vampire. She wasn’t buried with Warlow overnight, and he didn’t drink nearly enough of her blood. By your logic, Sookie should have been turned the first time she drank Bill’s blood (not to mention Eric’s).

I just know the shit’s going to hit the fan when Sookie finds out Warlow banished Niall. And what about Warlow killing all the fae at the club? And I liked the sex scene. I mean, it totally makes sense that male fae would orgasm light. Doesn’t it? But I’m pretty sure Sookie is pregnant.

I missed the Fairy sex scene, I was busy getting a cup of coffee. Sookie has known this guy what, 5 days tops, and she is already doing the nasty with him, disgusting. The Ben/Warlow thing is a real bust for me. I find him ordinary looking and quite frankly even after a shower a couple of episodes age he still looks dirty to me. I’m really sick of the ” I hate what I am” whining. That horse was beat to death by Bill. Really liked James being so gallent about not doing Jessica, hey he was a good looking guy. The big death of a major player hype was a real letdown. I liked Terry fine, but in my eyes he was a minor character so they didn’t deliver what they promised. I agree the wolf thing I just ignore. Lafayette, Sarah, and Jason were great comic relief, and Andy naming his daughter was heartwarming. As always the best part of the show, although always to short, Pam and Eric and Eric’s girls Tara, Nora, and Willa.

True, only the Eric’s plot and the vamp camp arena are saving this absurd season in terms of plot and narrative. . Also don’t forgetting the amazing performance of Anna Camp (Sarah Newlin). For me the best villain of the season, that’s, than annoying warlows, billiths etc.

I am not happy about the Sookie turn of events either. Her new man is controlled by Bill who can give him a Maker command. She claims she is done with Bill but everything leads right back to her and Bill, now Bill’s progeny can ensure Bill remains a constant in her life. He claims he can take Sookie away and they can live happily ever after and she fell for it. How did Warlow know her parents were on the bridge that night he can’t feel her distress his maker had to tell him Sookie was in trouble when Lafayette had her. This episode wasn’t thought out like the previous episodes. Was Claudine and Claudette of the royal line so why did Warlow make a contract with a child? What would have happened if he was never turned vampire would he have lived long enough to be Sookie’s mate? I guess Pam was right she does have a fairy vagina it glowed. I’m glad things are working out for Eric this season, Willa and the scene with her dad was sweet. How she controlled her urge to feed when Eric told her not to was nice. I’m sorry about Nora though and hope she can be saved.

Sookie in a depressive mood after having find out about her dad’s past just had casual sex with him. If you review the scene, she called herself a ‘dangers whore’.
I cannot believe that she is buying his words about their supposed ‘destiny’.

This plot is similar to Tara/Franklin of the third season in some way. Tara had sex casual with Franklin after Eggs’ death. A day after Tara have had refused something serious with him, he freaked out. I’m hoping similar ‘cat and rat’ development here as well.

If Sook does get pregers, how many little fairy babies will she have? I think it’s too complicated, I bet she doesn’t. buuuuut I’m thinking the “biting of his neck” is a segway to something much better now that they have each others blood! Woo hoo! Bring it on!! On a different note…..
What happened to the smokin’ hot Alcide?! It seems that his “mean” side has to come with a hooligan look. BOO! There really wasn’t much of a transition from the docile, peace keeping Alcide, to on edge, trouble searching, high strung Alcide. He used to be an all white wolf, has anyone noticed if he still is? I’m thinking he’s not. :(

The fairy sex was kind of hilarious though, glowing genitals!

Honestly Is it weird that after the Sookie/Warlow sex scene I feel the need to see lots and lots and lots of Sookie/Eric sex scenes at the youtube? Like trying to wash the taste of something terrible out of your mouth. Next to whatever the hell that was, all their scenes, even the most love/hate, feel comparatively honest and heartfelt. I just do not deal well with sex to annihilate the self, without love or even honest liking and lust. Hated Sookie and Bill’s hate sex in 3×08 for similar reasons, although even that was cleaner than this glowing genitals WTF?!.. At least Sookie took her anger out on Bill, instead of herself.

I agree with you nothing compares to Eric and Sookie I wish I was the moon sex scene….this scene was weird but I don’t think it was a dream and I also think she will not be with him in the next episode because shewill decide that he is not for her like that too much bad history and whatever. So this will be the highlight of Sookie/Warlow and then she will be single and we will see what happens in the last 3 episodes because Krazinsky says Warlow will be doing more bad things so ….this will be the fallout from that
