Wedding Nails — Expert Tips For Perfect Polish
“The days of French manicures or sheer pink polish on nails for your wedding day are over. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box when it comes to bridal nails,” Stephanie Lavery, Editor-in-Chief of Nail It! magazine tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Check out Stephanie’s top tips:
“For the more conservative bride that can’t let go of a French manicure, try edging tips with metallic gold or silver instead of white.
Pastels are always a beautiful and wedding-appropriate option for nail color, and it’s easy to try something different with a pastel yellow or soft lavender.
If you’re looking for a little more bling, try elongated neutral-color nails with a touch of glitter and 3-D elements like rhinestones and tiny pearls.
And, my favorite idea — make your “something blue” your nails! If that’s too much, paint robin’s egg blue polish on your toes.
Also, start getting regular manicures a couple of months before your big day. This will give short nails the time to grow out and get healthy, and if you have frayed cuticles and hangnails, it will allow ample time for the skin to heal.”
